The Capricorn 2010
The Capricorn this year will be a Three Hour Score event on modified 1:25000 OS map. It will be held on Pendle Hill and neighbouring areas on Saturday 4th September 2010.
30 controls (subject
to final planning) on obvious features which can be visited in any order.
The emphasis will be on speed and route choice rather than fine orienteering.
Start times 9.30-11.30am.
Assembly + Registration will be at Barley Village Hall, BB12 9JU. There is a "Pay and Display" car park available

Refreshments will be available at the finish.
Overprinted Maps; S.I. punching, "dibber" hire available at £1 per dibber.
Adults (18 or over on the day of the race) - either solo entry or enter as a pair.
No Juniors under 16 on day of race. Juniors 16-17 (on the day of the race) must run as a pair or with an adult.
