PFO have held two introduction to orienteering sessions suitable for beginners and improvers this month. The first was at Marl Pits and the second at Whitaker Park.Gillian has done a mini write up about these events (see the read more section). This Saturday (24th May) there will be an event at Marl Pits with White and Yellow courses for newcomers to practice their skills and a novelty (Snook-O) course. Snook-O is where you have to alternate a Red control with a Colour control, thus building up a score, the same as the game of snooker. Each Red control can only be visited once.
