The first of our June Series 2026 Snook-O events takes place at Victoria Park, Barrowford. Event 1 of 3.
Summer evening Score event mixing orienteering with the game of snooker. Get as many points as you can in the time limit by visiting/potting red and colour checkpoints building up your score. Can you ‘clear the table’ in the time limit and make the highest break?
Course information
The format for these events is ‘Snook O’. Based on the game of Snooker - you get a map with checkpoints that are either a ‘Red’ or a ‘Colour’.
Just like you would do in the game of snooker - ‘visit’ a red checkpoint to score 1 point, then visit any of the colour checkpoints to bag those - i.e. Pink will get you 6 points.
You have 45 minutes to build up as big a break as you can in the time limit. Each checkpoint will have an SI timing box and orange/white kite on it so you will see your score instantly when you download!
Penalties: No penalties if you Finish in under 45 mins, thereafter penalties will be deducted at 5 points per minute (1 pt/12 seconds).
Scoring values:
All Reds: 1 point (controls 101 to 111),
Zero value: 0 points (control 150 only).
