Format: Handicapped 60-minute score
10 points per control -1 point per 10 seconds late The clever scoring formula means that anybody can win, with adjustments made to reflect experience and age categories. Don’t ask how it works – that’s one for the Excel experts – but it does work. So even if you’ve only been orienteering two minutes, are 97 or 4, you’ve a genuine chance to win (kinda - but you get the gist).
