Saturday saw the British Sprint Relay Championships, where our Pendle Witches team of Emma, Judith and Kay put in a fantastic performance. Competing against a strong field, and teams consisting of males, they finished as the first all-women team in the Ad-Hoc class and an impressive 8th overall. A superb team effort!
On Sunday, attention turned to the individual British Sprint Championships, with competitors taking on fast, technical courses around the University of West England. The challenging races combined intricate urban navigation with the unique experience of running through the university buildings too. Judith agonisingly missed out on a gold by just one second!
The trio continued their excellent form, all returning home with medals with silver for Judith and Emma (W60 & W35), and bronze for Kay (W40)
A great set of results across the weekend and a great showcase of PFO talent!
